11/21/1997 - As reported on WUSA-TV: Proctor & Gamble has offered to supply diapers for as long as needed.
11/23/1997 - As reported on Cable News Channel 8: Proctor and Gamble also has given a gift of $ 2,000 to the Thompsons.
11/25/1997 - As reported on WUSA-TV: The Freddie Mac Foundation has donated a house to Linden and Jackie Thompson. Officials from the foundation and Freddie Mac will meet with The Thompsons on 12/1/97 to discuss the family's housing needs. The Chevrolet Division of General Motors has donated a new van.
11/25/1997 - The Information Man has referred givers of various gifts, such as strollers, cribs, etc. to "Sisters-In-Touch" in the Landover, MD area. They are coordinating the gift-giving. People, interested in donating items to the Thompsons, should call SIT at (301) 499-8976.
11/26/1997 - The Thompsons are interviewed on the Maury Povich Show and the nation gets to see the family and official presentation of the major gifts. Burlington Coat Factory of Greenbelt, Maryland and Peg Perego Manufacturers have donated three-seat and twin seat strollers.
12/22/1997 - The President of Howard University presents the Thompson Sextuplet survivors with full scholarships for their education.
01/09/1998 - Entertainer Brian McKnight presents Linden and Jackie with their first night out together alone, since the birth of the children. He provided them with tickets to his concert, transportation, and dinner at BET SoundStage in Landover, MD.
